Chairmen of the Chord

The Chairmen of the Chord are members of the Barbershop Harmony Society and the Southwest Pride Chorus. They enjoy the acapella harmony created by men singing together. In addition to singing for groups locally and in the area, they have performed on the annual chapter barbershop show in Lawton and Duncan for the last 15 years. They also competed in their Southwest District division and finished as one of the top ten quartets.
H Keith Parrish, DVM, is the Lead in the quartet. Keith is a veterinarian and serves as the Civilian Veterinarian for Fort Sill's Veterinary Clinic. He likes to fish, golf, sing, and be funny. Keith and his wife Dana have two daughters, Amy and Allison. [Keith Parrish passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma, on 18 February 2020. Keith was a long time member of the Barbershop Society. He is dearly missed.]
Ben Good sings Tenor in the quartet. He is retired but still working. Ben and his wife, Margaret, have two sons and two daughters, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Bill Penn is the quartet's Baritone. He is a part of the music ministry at Grace Fellowship in Lawton. Since retiring, Bill enjoys golf and singing. Bill and his wife Billie have one daughter, Allison, and one son, Zed, and four grandchildren: Alyssa, Skylr, Nathaniel, and Ashlin.
Don Ward rounds out the quartet by sing Bass. He is retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Lawton as the Training Manager. Don is one of the song leaders for the 8th and Lee Church of Christ in Lawton. He enjoys singing, traveling, and being with his family and friends. Don and his wife, Janice, have one daughter, Janna and her husband Travis, and two sons, Zack and Sam and his wife, Crislyn.
